This weekend the world had to say goodbye to three people: Michael Jackson (June 25, 2009), Farrah Fawcett (June 25, 2009) and Al Hermiston, Stacy Ashley's father who himself drown while trying to rescue youth from drowning in a local lake (June 28, 2009).

Most of the world knew Michael and Farrah. Most of the world didn’t know Al Hermiston. But he was known by the One who matters most, the God of the universe.

I can’t help but think that at this very moment, Michael and Farrah would gladly trade all their fame and fortune to have the one treasure that Al possesses – eternal life through his Savior, Jesus Christ.
